I really like music. I mean, I'm sure everyone does, but I, like, really
like music. Since 2023, I've been collecting CDs. For a while, I had been
growing more disillusioned with streaming services, and that year was when I kinda just
snapped and decided that everything I listened to from now on would be from a CD.
Alongside the somewhat selfish excuse that I want to have my favorite albums forever,
I also collect CDs just because I think all art deserves to live forever. That's why
I use CDs in particular; they can be duplicated trivially, and wear down a hell of a lot
slower than analog stuff like vinyls or casettes. They're also dirt cheap,
though perhaps that's a supply-and-demand thing.
If you, like me, care about art, I would encourage you to collect stuff like this as well.
CDs, DVDs, books, whatever. Art lives on only as long as we allow it to,
so let's allow it to live on forever.
This is a list of every record I own, sorted alphabetically by artist, and chronologically by release.
